We had long wanted to find a way to work together as we had previously had a relationship as rep and buyer. However, working as sales reps in the same territory, we didn’t see how we could accomplish that goal. While the world was spinning out of control, our desire to help out our customers and support each other grew. We decided to think outside the box and do what no other reps had ever done before. We would continue to represent the lines we now represented independently, but we would support one another by learning about each other’s customers and becoming knowledgeable about each other’s product lines. This relationship would create a general support system. Initially, some customers and vendors didn’t understand how two reps who would ordinarily be considered competitors could actually work as a team.
Now, two years later, we have found much success in our partnership as we continue to fine tune what Sparkle Sales Group looks like. We now have vendors we represent jointly and continue to represent our own lines independently. Between the two of us, we bring our individual skills, experience and contacts together. This lets us help our vendors and customers connect and build their businesses.
We are selective in what lines we choose to represent. We are proud of our professional reputations and the trust our customers and business partners have placed in us. Our passion is to support small business in their dreams by utilizing our skills to help them be successful.
